Over the last 6 years I have worked as a web engineer consultant. From simple landing pages to custom healthcare apps, and datafeed processing, I've seen almost it all. What better than combining what I do best with that I like the most?

It's so much more than just the gameplay.
I remember back in 1998 going into the local video game store and my dad getting me Pokemon Yellow. Little did I know that from that day on, a large part of my life would revolve around video games. Nintendo titles have been a defining part of my life, and I wish I could bring back a fraction of the experience of buying a cartridge.
Something about the Steamification of gaming has also removed one of the things I enjoyed most about games: the buildup. Peeking over someone elses GameBoy in the schoolyard and cropping game art from magazine previews was just as thrilling, sometimes more, than the game itself.
With re:viewed I want to recover a fraction of the buildup that makes the experience so much more. I believe that even online we can build relationships with individuals and not just corporations. Sharing your passion over a title is so much more rewarding than 2000 half-played games in a digital library.
